He was the son of Bartholomeus VAN VALKENBURGH and Engeltje VAN SLYCK. He married Harriet (surname unknown) about 1804. Where? Thomas and Harriet had eight children born primarily in Columbia and Orange County, New York, the first ca. 1805 and the last ca. 1829. By 1840 they had moved to Starr Township, near the village of Union Furnace in Hocking County, Ohio. Thomas probably died during the 1840s and Harriet was living with a daughter near Logan, Ohio when the 1850 census was taken. Can anyone tell me Harriet's maiden name and the names of her parents, birthdate and place, and anything else about her? Richard Welch Farmington, New Mexico
