Surnames: Sager/Seager Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/VRB.2ACE/2511 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on David Sager (married to Hannah Barbara Eckhard), who moved to Missisquoi County, Quebec, in the early 1790's with his large family (including sons Michael and Adam Sager). I believe they moved from Dutchess County to Columbia County (Claverack) in the early 1770's. I am wondering if they were Loyalists, and if their move to Canada would have been prompted by the Revolutionary War. Does anyone know how I can check this out?
