Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VRB.2ACE/1926.2 Message Board Post: Hi Rose, Isaac Hatch had a brother Ebenezer born 28 July 1766 in Hillsdale. I found this in Ebenezer's Revolutionary War pension file and he states that his brother Isaac has the family bible which states his birth date and that Isaac resided in Hillsdale as of 14 December 1832 when he made is depositon. An Elisha Hatch resided in Hillsdale and is buried in Hatch Burying Ground, Green River (Austerlitz). He died 15 April 1770 and his wife Isabel died 23 July 1767 in 43rd year. In the publication The Columbia published by Kinship, Volume 7, page 8: Guardianship Papers: 4 April 1860, George W. Hatch, 13 y on 6/18/1859; parents: Isaac, dec. and wife Minerva, Hillsdale, brother (of George): Thomas J. Hatch, Hillsdale. Guradian/bondsman: Allen Gildersleeve, Minerva Hatch, Hillsdale, George C. Murcer, Mary Rowe, Hillsdale. (This Isaac and Minerva are listed in the 1850 census Hillsdale: Isaac age 80, Minerva age 43, Thomas age 12, Ellen J. or I., age 7 and George age 3.) Issac Hatch is also mentioned in The Columbia, Volume 3, page 138, guardianship papers and Volume 4, page 124, guardianship papers. I do not have these volumes but you can get them at www.kinshipny.com There is an Elias on the 1767 Tax list for East Claverack which includes the town of Hillsdale. Hope this helps some. Susan
