He married Sarah Guy on 8 Jan 1824. He died 13 May 1822 in Pleasant Grove Twp, Des Mone Co. IA. He was Christened 3 Aug 1800. His Father was mathias Shurts and his Motehr was Susannah McGehan. I am looking for any furthe back than this at this time. If you want more on children etc. that I have please let me know. They had 12 Children of which 10 (I think) were born in Columbia Co OH
