Diane and David (Hi, Cuz!): If you find where those cemetery records are, would you please post that info to the list? I too have some problems I'd like to clear up - like where is one of my grandmother's daughters? I'd had a letter in 2000 from Shirley Mullins (can't find her letter right now, but I have my reply, and had entered notes into FTM. Shirley Mullins gave me Nellie's death date Nellie d. Oct 5, 1893 at 8 months, 13 days, Register #773. So she must have died in Philmont, then, and probably been buried there, though the family lived in NYC from 1887 until 1904. But Gram's parents and several siblings and aunts lived in and near Philmont. Thus I'm guessing that Nellie must have been buried in Mellenville Cemetery., though there may be no stone. The previous child, who died in 1892 was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery on Long Island (I also have his grave ticket) When I inquired of Maple Grove if Nellie was buried there, they wrote that they had no record for a Nellie Armstrong with that death date. Sigh. Cheers! Jean
