That book is also at the Columbia Historical Society. I did get info frm there but the sources aren't really disclosed so some of it may be suspect. My GG granfather was Abram, Bernard's brother. I have done some research on the Beeman's too. Isaac is listed in the DAR patriot Book. Bernard & Abram were born on Ashley Hill in Rider's Mills. I found the old basement of the house in the woods many years ago and would love to go there again this summer. Abram(I have his Civil War diary) was on the ship Aargo in the Civil War. His son David was killed in Compte, Louisiana in an ambush. His son Charles(my G grandfather )was in Richmond when it fell. He wrote a letter from what was the previous Confederate president's shortly after Richmond fell. Doris Ashley
