Trying to revert connection of Columbia Co Hatchs that removed to Washington Co---at least through the Mayflower books via Edward Doty---is almost impossible, as those Hatchs that went to Washington Co WERE NOT TRACED, NOR BARELY OR EVEN AT ALL MENTIONED. No one wants to admit that the Hillsdale Hatchs, Crippens, Rowleys, as well as others, even removed to Washington Co---before most removed to points beyond where everyone wants to pick them up: ie: Judge Elijah Hatch removing to Ohio AFTER a stop in Washington Co. Jim Crippen's comments about some family info "making little impact" upon the observations from the Mayflower Edward Doty coverage would certainly have NO IMPACT if certain factions of the line were NOT followed if no one knew, or researched that they did, in fact, remove to Washington Co.. Yes, Doty's did in fact remove to Washington Co, as well, as they purchased or mortgaged, if even for a short time, land in Whitehall and Granville--yet can find little, if any, information about these particular Doty's. Anyway, just felt I had to get this posted; perhaps you can't answer any of this; however, it might open up something for someone else looking for an opening to researching some of these connected families NOT researched in the Mayflower book. Anyone is free to contact me, directly, if they can shed any light on any of the mentioned names from Columbia Co that went to Washington Co, then points beyond.
