I was able to fill in middle names, fill in the married names, husbands and children of her daughter Marion, as well as wive's names for her sons. You say Edward Saulpaugh, but Mary's son's name was Edwin James. Are we still talking about the same man ? Mary was quite well-off for a widow in 1948 when she passed away. She owned an apartment building on Warren St. in Hudson and that building is still there, I have pictures of it :). On my trip to Hudson, I did speak to a sheriff's deputy and asked about Milton who had been the Sheriff there for a number of years. I"m going back to NY in August and I'm going to see if they have anything more on him as Sheriff. The quest continues !
