I believe my ggg-grandfather was in NY during the War of 1812, he married Sarah, possibly EVANS, in Chatham, and sometime between 1840 and 1850 moved to Lyons, Ionia, MI. He was born in NJ in 1788 and died in MI in 1876. He married second Sally Shumway, Chatham. Anyone who can help me verify any of this info would be greatly appreciated.
