I see that we're cousins, Asa Douglass jr is my 6th Great Grandfather. I descend from his daughter Sarah Douglass. Anyhow, I visited Stephentown and Canaan last year. I'm attaching some pictures for you. One is the historic marker, the second is a shot of the Douglass House, a third is a bird's eye view. I've also attached a picture of his tombstone. As you can see, the actual spelling is Douglass. I have quite a bit of information on the Douglass line, I've gathered quite a bit myself as well as collaborating with other cousins of ours.
