There are quite a few records that give the names and dates for Gertrude Maria and Margaret: baptisms, marriages, Bible records from the Harder and Ten Broeck families, census (for John & Margaret), and headstones – see below. Another clue is: Lavina BECKER (bt . 6 Jan 1800 Hillsdale RC b. 14 Nov 1799, dau. of Petrus Becker & Polly Southard) married Abraham Ten Broeck, 18 Feb. 1821 at Claverack RC. Petrus may be the son of Henrich B. & Anna Maria Harder baptized 1778 at Manorton, which would bring it full circle if Margaret and Getty are related to Lavina. Henrich was son of the early Antonius (Tunis) Becker and Anna Maria was John’s aunt. John Harder & Getty are ancestors through their son Allen of Harders still living in Claverack, the same family that operated the well-known Harder’s Express trucking company for many years. The Bible of Margaret Lydia (Tenbroeck) Youngblood indicates that John Harder died January 27, 1862. The Bible gives Margaret's birthday as November 9, 1795. Hi Jim, OK. They are two different women. I had the baptism records, the 1826 Kinderhook marriage, and the Union Cemetery records. The Hillsdale Old Cemetery records were new to me and I can confirm them and have revised my database. I can't find the follwing record: <John second married Margaret Becker (1792 - 1868) at Ghent 30 Nov 1839.> Is that a non-church citation that would also indicate that she was the same Margaret Becker who married earlier William Ten Broeck. I have that Ten Broeck marriage and their children in my database. I don't see Lavina Becker as a clue here, other than that she also married a Ten Broeck. <Gertrude Maria BECKER. Born on 4 Dec 1806.
