Hi All, I just received a "Verified Transcript of Death" from the town of Stuyvesant for Hannah Williams age 80 who died 5 Oct 1887 and was the wife of John Stoliker. Her father's name on the hand-written death certificate is "Anginertus" Williams. I have never heard of such a name and am inclined to think it is actually Augustus and the clerk just could not accurately transcribe it. Anyone have an idea as to what it could be? Susan M.
