I also have a photo of a trout about that big, ca. 1933. J William was single in 1920. I searched for all the Elizabeth/Bess* of the right age (b abt 1896) in Ulster and Sullivan Cos. in 1920. There was a Bessie BROOKS in Neversink, single, and a teacher. Bessie ERTS was a public school teacher in 1930, so I bet they are the same and I will look for a marriage record.
