Hi Jim, The information on WorldConnect indicates the name of the parents for the John Wheeler who married Lea Woodcock as Evert Wheeler and Marytje Woodcock. I have 11 children for this family. If they had a son John, he would have been born about 1739. No baptism has ever been found for this John. If he fits there, that's where I will but him. There is a John Wheeler who was baptized on 10 Feb 1739 in Kinderhook Reformed Church. His parents were John Wheeler and Elizabeth Wheeler. Richard
Hi Richard, A couple of months ago we had three people from the Dutch-Colonies list going over the early Wielaer/Wheeler family and using this Worldconnect submission as the starting point/finding aid. We were split on whether Marytje was a Woodcock or not. I couldn't find an appropriate Marytje Woodcock baptism so I'm kinda undecided, although Glenn's reasoning makes sense.
