Dear Pat: Thanks for the reply. Glad to see you are having success in your Harter quest. At some point in time, one should go ahead and publish what one has, even if incomplete. One never knows what may happen to intervene with one's plans to eventually publish. A case in point, many years ago I was researching the Lamson Family from Granby, Ct. I found out the author of the published Lamson Family Genealogy had died in Connecticut. At the Elizabeth Park Library in Hartford I found the author had willed his records to the library. Among the papers were many letters sent by Lamsons subsequent to publication, and one of them brought my line right down to my father. Eureka! Best of luck. A Harter cousin, Don Blankman.
