    3. Dear Donald L., Jim H., Susan M., and Art B. Thanks so much for helping me with my Hiserote research. I would like to explain or remind listers of the following......... For some of us researchers, we are just beginning, and its a big World outthere. We know very little of the " how to " go for looking for information. Some of us are in a State, where to much IS NOT available. or very little. Some of us, was not born in the USA, thats me for one., so we did not go to school here, so when you go back to the Civil War, Revolution, etc.,.. its all new to us......BUT we are willing to learn along the way, if someone is there to help.!!!!! Thats where you wonderful people with LOTS of knowledge and tools can help us, by getting us in the right direction. Thats all. all we need is a little help. Yesterday, after you folks were so helpful, I also got a message from a lister, BUT That person was very rude, and completely uncall for in her message. No, I know nothing about the Revolution, Militia... BUT I AM WILLING TO LEARN AS I GO ALONG!!!!!!!! thats what's making this Hobby so much fun, as we learn as we go along.!!!!! So to All, that are willing to help us beginners out, Thanks... Liz Farley from South Dakota.

    3. Hi Merle and Liz--- I just read your note and I know ecactly what you mean. Please don't get discourages about the lack of common decency of some people. You know there are always some one who is not a considerate person. For my own experience its been rather positive. I am still learning after 40 years of looking and searching. Keep your faith! Good luck. 3. Hi Liz and Bruce and all other Listers, I do agree with you Bruce. I have found the majority of the Listers have been very helpful to me. And yes, genealogy is always a "learning experience." I too am still learning, especially, about the Civil War, Revolutionary War, King Philip's war, etc. Too bad I did not pay attention in high school history class! It is so much more interesting when you ancestors have been involved and make the history come alive. And there is so much information on the Internet, it some times gets confusing on where to look. I do believe I am running out of space for my bookmarks! Liz, as Bruce said don't get discouraged by one nasty person. We are all willing to help -- just ask.
