My ancestors Stephen Vallette and Freelove(Greene)Vallette moved to Kinderhook from Rhode Island after the revolution. We will be visiting Kinderhook in October. Is there any way that I can find out just where they lived in Kinderhook? If the house is still standing.? I have visited the cemetery and located the gravesites. I would also like to see the baptisimal records of the offspring that were baptised at the Kinderhook Reformed Church in 1821. Does anyone know the name of the Historian for Columbia Cy so I can write and set up an appointment with her?
