Hello List, Is anyone researching the CORNELIUS name in the Kinderhook area? I have JOHN CORNELIUS (1758) who married CORNELIA JOHNSON (17??) on 31 May 1784 in Kinderhook, Columbia Co., NY. I'm hoping that someone will recognise these 2, and give me some clue as to who their parents were. Since John seems to have been born 'in America', perhaps his parents may have come from Holland??? And perhaps his parents are in a cemetery in the Kinderhook area. [John & Cornelia came to Canada during the Revolutionary war. Most of their descendants remained in Canada.] I eagerly await replies from anyone who can comment. Thanks in advance.
