John Stated that he was born in Greene county and Maria stated she was born in Albany county. John and his wife were living in Berne, Albany county, NY in the 1855 census with Maria's sister Tina Hoose living in their household. The Middleburgh Reformed church records indicate that a Peter J. Hoose/Hoes and his wife removed to the Kinderhook Reformed Church in 1818 - 1819. I have reason to believe that Peter may be Maria's father. If anyone can help me with this family, it would be greatly appreciated.. If anyone has access to the Kinderhook Reformed Church records and would be willing to look for these people, that too would be greatly appreciated. thanks Dave Stott
