Haven't been able to establish whether he was the twin bother to Eva HEISER or the son of Jacob HEISER, brother of Peter HEISER. Johannes HEISER married abt. 1787 Margaret Gretzen ROCKEFELLER, d/o Simon ROCKEFELLER of Germantown, Columbia County, N.Y. Have records from the Rockefeller Genealogy Books by Henry Oscar Rockefeller, MD: Book I, pages 150-156 and Book III, pages 145-150 which includes Peter John HEISER (1790-1872/4) s/o Johannes & Margaret HEISER, Lyman Henry HIZER/HEIZER (1831 Catskill, Greene Co., N.Y. - 1904 Lyons, Ionia Co., Michigan), Ernest Henry HIZER (1867 Lyons, Ionia Co., Michigan - 1921 Lyons, Ionia Co.,MI), my father Walter Alexander HIZER (1906 Lyons, Ionia Co.,MI - 1992 Ann Arbor, Washtenaw Co., MI). Margaret Rockefeller's older sister Christina married their cousin William Rockefeller from New Jersey and they are the great grandparents of John D. Rockefeller (1839-1937) and makes my grandfather Ernest Hizer a 3rd cousin to John D. and myself a 5th cousin to Nelson A. Rockefeller. My father bore a remarkable resemblance to Nelson. Have earlier ancestors of Eva & Johannes HEISER although some records are not entirely clear on the Palatine descendants. Would enjoy hearing from you.
