I am interested in corresponding with anyone with information about the Myer line of Columbia County, early to late 1800s. This line descends from SIMON JOHNSON MYER, b. 1787, d. 1826 and burried in Claverack, and his wife CATHERINE SHULTIS, b. about 1790 and d. 1878 also burried in Claverack, Dutch Reformed Church cemetery. They had many chhildren who also had many children, probably originating in Germantown and migrating to Claverack. Simon & Catherines children include JOHN A., CORNELIA M., PETER TEN BROECK, ROBERT BEEKMAN MYER and KATHERINE RUTH MYER BEARDSLEY. My gg grandfather, SEBASTIAN M SHULTIS, b. 1835 is somehow a 1/2 brother of these children. Some of the later generations relocated to Saugerties, Woodstock etc. Bob Vredenburgh
