Since Adam Shaver is mentioned I thought I woud list all the Shavers that hve records of serving in the Revolution with the 10th Albany Militia of Livingston Manor & Germantown: 1. Adam Shvor (Shaver) - Land Bounty List in Roberts' New York in the Revolution as Colony and State. 2. Charles Shaver, Pvt. In Rockefeller's Co. & later 2d Lt. In Capt. John Shaver's Co. - Fernow's Ney York in the Revolution & Roberts also. 3. Hendrick Sheaver - Land Bounty List in Roberts. 4. Jacob F. Shaver, Capt. - Both Fernow & Roberts. 5 John Shaver, Capt. - Both Fernow & Roberts. - Has Pension file. 6. John Shaver, Cpl. - Fernow. 7. Peter Shaver. - Both Roberts & Fernow. - Has pension file. A connection probably could be made with some of them. Don Lampson Bonnie Morgan wrote: > American Ancestry , Columbia County, has Harriet Shaver as the wife of Silas B. This ref. is not always 100%, but gives you leads. It lists the Shaver families (2) as also from Livingston Manor and mentions Jacob (circa 1748,d. 1821 as serving in Rev.
