He born 1758, son of Robert Jackson and Sarah Campbell. Robert son of immigrant Robert and wife Mary. Only known child of Archibald is illegitimate daughter Freelove, born Voluntown 1788, married Gideon Tanner. Only evidence on wives is that he maried a Nancy in 1800,she went to Vermont to get a divorce in 1802, but NY refused to recognize the divorce.Siblings of Archibald: Eunice 1748, married Benedit Corey; Elizabeth 1751; Elias 1753, married Agnes Alexander; Mary 1756; Hope 1760; and Robert 1762. My own elusive ancestor is Willard Jackson, bornabout 1795, who I think fits in with this group of Jacksons somewhere.
