I have Benoni b. 1755 at Quaker Hill,twn of Pawling, dutchess co.NY. I have heard that Benjamin and benoni are interchanged? I know that Benoni had a sister Margaret who married Stephen Wickham at Bengall church. These families migrated through Columbia, albany, washington, onieda and onondaga counties. Benoni served in the rev war, I have seen his petition for pension. I should check whether other war dept records reveal more info. I would love to compare info.
