Cornelis and Annatje [BURGHARDT] VOSBURGH were witnesses at the baptism of one of the children of Johannes Dirkse6 VOSBURGH [b. 1744] in 1774 at Kinderhook. Johannes Dirkse6 VOSBURGH, who m. Cornelia GARDENIER, was a son of son of Dirck Jacobse5 VOSBURGH and Alida VAN ALEN. My VOSBURGH records indicate that there was a Cornelis Barentse6 VOSBURGH [b. 1739], son of Barent Pieterse5 VOSBURGH and Janneje VAN SCHAICK, who was a cousin of the above Johannes Dirkse6 VOSBURGH. It would appear to me that Cornelis Barentse6 VOSBURGH and the Cornelis VOSBURGH who m. Annatje BURGHARDT were the same person. Can anyone confirm this? Annatje Hendrickse BURGHARDT was a sister of Lambert Hendrickse BURGHARDT and children of Hendrick BURGHARDT and Catharine HUYCK. Lambert Hendrickse BURGHARDT was the father of Cathrina Lambertse BURGHARDT who m. Samuel Johannesen6 VOSBURGH, a son of Johannes Abrahamsen VOSBURGH and Sarah GARDENIER. Also, does anyone know whether Cornelia GARDENIER and Sarah GARDENIER were sisters?
