In ca 1820 one Benjamin Houck may have been born in Columbia County. He traveled from Columbia Cnty, NY to Richford, Tioga Cnty, NY in ca 1845. I have found this name in conjunction with my McIntyre family. It is my thought that Benjamin Houck was an older, half brother to John and Matthew McIntyre. I have hit a brick wall with this line. I know they are out of Columbia Cnty and came to Richford at the same time. Matthew McI and Benjamin Houck bought land together. The land was part of the Boston Burchase. Yours aye, Donna
