I am searching for info regarding my great-grandfather, Samuel John RUSSELL and his brother, Hugh RUSSELL. Samuel was born in Ireland (where?) in 1822 and Hugh in Ireland (where?) in 1824. Samuel married Sabina Flanigan on 15 Dec 1849 at Christs Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ghent. Samuel had immigrated in 1844. He and Hugh were both farmers in Ghent. Samuel and Sabina's children were Eleanor, John Samuel and Isabelle Catherine. Hugh married Jane ? and their children were Robert, William, Mary Jane, James, John, Elenor, Hugh, Samuel and Florence. Samuel and Sabina were buried in the Ghent Union Cemetery. I would be delighted if I could share information regarding this family.
