They have all that including newspaper clippings, cemetery records. As with any respository, they have whatever has been donated. If your family is there, you make out. I've always found something on families I've gone to research there. Good luck to you. Hi All, I just received a "Verified Transcript of Death" from the town of Stuyvesant for Hannah Williams age 80 who died 5 Oct 1887 and was the wife of John Stoliker. Her father's name on the hand-written death certificate is "Anginertus" Williams. I have never heard of such a name and am inclined to think it is actually Augustus and the clerk just could not accurately transcribe it. Anyone have an idea as to what it could be? Susan M.

Does anyhow have an abstract or a source for the will of Hermanus Van Buren, b ca 1756, wife Sara Snyder, 6 children including Barent b ca 1805? I don't have a death date for him but Barent appears to be the youngest child. Thanks. Marilyn
I have an excel spreadsheet with everyone by the name of Higgins who is buried in the Cedar Park Cemetery. The entries are on the sheet in three ways: first in no particular order, then sorted by birth order, then sorted by cemetery section. It was sent to me by Ginger Castle, the cemetery's office manager. Pat and Bob, if you'd like me to email this to you for review, just let me know (maybe I should sent it to your private email; I don't know if we're allowed to send attachments through the group). Hi, Pat and Bob. I notice you're researching the Higgins family. My Higgins ancestors lived in Hudson. They settled there in 1853 after emigrating from Ireland. I spent a week in Hudson last summer and I have tons of information. Maybe you and I have a connection. Please let me know more about which Higginses you're interested in. Thanks. Is there anything in the works to get the cemetery records for Cedar Park put online? I live right in Hudson and it's still a chore to get to the office. The office only has part time help and they are only open Mon thru Thursday 9 AM to 1 PM. I would even be willing to transcribe the information. Another suggestion for the transcription is the NYGENWEB site for Columbia County http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nycolumb/contents.html Fred
