I thought I'd let you know that I finished my master's project which was a family tree history web site of my ancestors, the Spickermans. Some of you were very helpful in finding information for me and I would like to thank those people particularly Susan Mulvey, Cliff Lamere, Don Lampson, and many others. These people and their relatives resided in Columbia County in Kinderhook, Livingston Manor and Chatham, and in Nassau, Rensselaer County. So if you see any surnames you recognize and have information or need information on these people. Feel free to comment on the web site. I plan to add more information in the future, but I'm a little "burned" out on genealogy right now after working so hard to get my project completed in order to graduate. I've put off announcing the site for several months until now. Here's the web site address: http://home.kscable.com/jensfamilytree/project/index.html Jennifer Nordyke

My grandfather was Horace Landrus and he had a brother named John whose wife was named Lillian and I believe her maiden name was Lurkey, I am not sure if that is spelled right. There were brothers and sisters also. My grandfathers father was Horace Landrus and he married Minerva Blankinship. He died in 1926 and she died in I believe 1963 at the age of 102. The names of the siblings are:Henry, George, and Amanda. There were 2 children that died at birth. I don't know if this is who you are looking for but it sure sounds like the same names. I believe the town was Aitkin. I visited with Uncle John and Aunt Lillian several times when I was small. I remember visiting one of them that lived on a lake. I won't bore you with this in case they are not your relatives, but if you think they are, feel free to contact me. My My Mom is 90 years old but she maybe able to fill you in somemore.. Pat Leber
Congratulations, Cliff - What a great world this would be for genealogists if every county had a Cliff Lamere. Don Meierdiercks
