    3. Does anyone have advice on where to research for family in Columbia Co., (Hillsdale)? I am looking for dates 1780-1797. I have a paper that suggests that a lot of that information is in MA - in the Pittsfield Library and other places in that area. I haven't had a chance to go there yet. As soon as I locate the paper I'll post the places that are listed. I am just wondering if others have had any luck researching there. Thanks, Laurien Babcock Fan

    2. Peter Ostrander
    3. If you bought $1000 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49. If you bought $1000 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, and traded in the cans for the nickel deposit, you would have $79. My advice to you is to start drinking heavily. Yours truly, PO

His father was Nehemiah b. Apr 8, 1709. This Nehemiah marred Abigail ___? in Greenwich CT. She died about 1743 in Dutchess County NY. It is believed he married then Mary Palmer as Ephriam Palmer , in his will dated Dec 10, 1774 proved Jan 19, 1782 says "my brothers Nehemiah Reynolds and Edward Palmer Executors". So this Mary Palmer could have been Ephriam or Edward daughter. She might have been Peter Palmers daughter as this Nehemiah b. 1709 described himself as being of Filkintown Nine Partners NY., and together with Peter Palmer sold over 4000 acres of land to Joseph Reynolds. This Peter Palmer had a wife Judah ____? Peter Palmer and Nehemiah both came from Greenwich Ct. Nehemiah came to Nine Partners in 1738. I don't know if there are Quaker records at Greenwich but it might be worth a look.
