I am researching the family of Daniel Woodworth at one time a resident of Livingston Manor. We believe he moved to Livingston Manor around 1745/6 from Connecticut. We know that he sold his improvements in 1760 and went on to Ulster County. Known family names would be wife Sarah Colver/Culver, sons Absalom, Robert & Daniel. Thank you for your time.

The Columbia Co. Historical Society has found it necessary to increase their prices for photocopies of cemetery records listed in the 60,000-name Master Burial Index for Columbia Co. that is posted on my website. The new price structure is $5 for the first photocopy and $2 for each additional page in that order, when accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~clifflamere/Cem/Col/CEM-ColMaster.htm http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~clifflamere/Cem/Col/CEM-ColCo-Bks.htm Cliff

Herman Witthoft, 142 Hudson Avenue, Chatham, N.Y. 12037. I think he has written a book on the Waltermires. Also, Chatham is near Ghent and he can give you the directions you need to the cemetary. I used to live in that area, before I moved south. Good Luck.
Sorry, Margaret, I didn't even think to look for Wheelers! Also in the town of Pawling: Wheeler, Bastian, 1770-1778 Ephraim, 1770-1778 John, 1772-1777 Valentine, 1770-1778 There are on page 153 and the Smiths on page 251. Susan
Hi Margaret, I found a Jehiel Smith in the Town of Pawling, Dutchess County paying taxes from the years 1773-1778. Also listed are Edward, years 1775-1778, Edward, Jr., years 1778 and Philip, years 1775-1778. This is from the book "Dutchess County, NY Tax Lists, 1718-1787 by Clifford M. Buck with Rombout Precinct by William Willis Reese edited by Arthur and Nancy Kelly, Kinship, Rhinebeck, NY 1990. Hope this helps in your search.
