Deborah, age 25, female, wife, born Broome, how many children parent; 2, married once, now married. Isabel, age 5, female, child, born Columbia county. Louisa, age 2/12, female, child, born Columbia county. In the 1875 census at Hudson. 3rd Election District, Line 31, Dwelling No. 17, Brick house valued at $4800, Family No. 121 taken 7 June 1875: Edward Tiffany, age 37, male, born Schoharie county, married, druggist. Norah D[cannot read the surname], age 17, female, servant, born Columbia county, domestic. I looked for Edward in the 1850 census and I think I found him listed as "Edmund" in the town of Esperance, Schoharie county with: Sarah A., age 48, born NY Theodore, age 17, chair making, born NY. William J., age 14, born NY Edmund, age 12, born NY Adaline, age 10, born NY Sarah A. Gibbs, age 2, born NY. The reason I think this may be his family as I also found a Theodore Tiffany (who may be Edward's brother) in the 1875 census also in Hudson, 4th Election District, pg 4, Line 32, Dwelling 28, Wood house valued at $3,000, Family No. 37: Theodore Tiffanny, age 41, male, born Montgomery county, married, Agent. I would love to know all you know of this family. I know the following, although it is not absolute fact, because I am slightly confused in my searches due to their having been two Frederick Landvoigts (one Frederick John) in the same area at roughly the same time, and I fear on points my paths cross the two: Dr Frederick Landvoigt MD (b. 1823-24, Germany, d. 1898, South Yarra, Victoria) took his degree from the University of Jena, Germany in 1857. Son of Frederick Landvoigt and Elizabeth Backe Golten. Medical doctor, arrived SA by 1854 where his daughter Clara was born in October, and then apparently returned to Germany to complete his doctorate. (This is speculation, but the only explanation, unless he was not Dr Landvoigt, although all other details seem to point to this). Returned to Sandhurst (Bendigo) Victoria early in 1857, where his other children Alfred Henry (later Alfred Ernest 1857-1915), Ottilie Allwiene (1859-60) and Anna (1863-63) were born. Consulting surgeon to Bendigo Hospital, and a physician and most probably a specialist in children's diseases in various Victorian country towns, including Chiltern, Donald and Birchip, and also possibly in Prahran, Melbourne. married Wilhelmina Frederica Deinhardt (various spellings), b. 1821 (Possibly in Weimar, Germany), d. South Yarra, Victoria 1911. daughter of Godlieb Deenhardt and Wilhelmina Frederica Unknown. As I say, I am not yet completely certain of all of these details, and would warmly welcome any comments or clarifications.

This was shortly after my aunt was born. In February of 1912 they had a church ceremony in Manorton. A church name is not mentioned on the certificate. The certificate only states, "Church Ceremony, Village of Manorton, Columbia Co., NY". My grandmother was Dutch and attended St. James Episco. Church in Hyde Park. My grandfather was Irish Catholic but, he never went to church. I believe my maternal great grandmother had my grandparents go through a proper ceremony for the baby's sake. My questions are; 1 what was the name of the Dutch Reformed Church in Manorton, 2 was there an Episco. church and lastly where might I find a record of either church? Thanks for any help, Ro
