Maybe this DONALDSON is somehow related to yours and you would want to add to your records. DONALDSON, Sovereign B., 30, d 3/9/31 in Poughkeepsie ["his remains were accompanied to the grave by Capt. PINE'S Corps of Artillery of which (he) was a member."] - Poughkeepsie Journal 3/16/31 In the "History of Clinton County" the military history of the town of Champlain, I have the following as enlisting for the Civil War: Nathan DONALDSON, Co. E, 9th Regt. enl. 1864 For the surname HOGLE, I only show information for an Anson HOGLE. In the town of Clinton, he was names as one of the supervisors: Anson HOGLE, 1846-48. This is all the information I could find on your families.
