Nancy married Elijah after Elijah's first wife, Deborah BABBITT died, June 21, 1850. Nancy had 4 daughters with the last name of SPAULDING. They were: Orenda b: Abt. 1849, Sophron(i)a b: Abt. 1851, Electa b: Abt. 1858 and Kate b: Abt. 1859. Nancy and Elijah must have divorced or (?) as Nancy d: 1872 and her headstone reads: Nancy WHITE DWYER, wife of Elijah WHITE. Elijah d: April 08, 1877, Black Brook, Clinton, NY. 4 days later, his property was sold to Emerson Featherston, for $175 and Hattie was one of the sellers. What happened to Hattie after Nancy died? Did she marry? She was only about 14 when Elijah died. Hattie was in the 1870 census, with Nancy and Elijah and she was 7 years old. Also, what happened to the SPAULDING girls.
