    3. Hi Judy, In the History of Clinton County I found three separate entries for the name William Bedell. Page 266: Listed under Churches of Champlain, NY we find the Methodist Episcopal Church and list as one of their ministers: "William BEDELL 1856-57 Page 318: for the town of Ellenburgh, Churches: Methodist Episcopal; minister "William BEDELL 1860-61." Page 359: Sarnac Hollow churches - Methodist Episcopal " The pastors of this church have been as follows:....... William BEDELL" (no date given) This is all I could find on him in the History Book. Hope this is your man. There is no mention about his wife.
