I sent for a marriage certificate to Albany, and they sent a reply back,that if I went thru them that, it would take six months for the reply. That it would faster to go thru the Town Clerks Office. I think you can find it there because, we got one for my brother at the Town Clerks and he was born dead. I called to see how much the document would cost because the price changes. Also my niece sent for document in Chazy, that they could not find and they sent her check back. It all took about a couple of weeks from the Town Clerk. Hope this helps,Elaine
