Sorry, to break in, but I know some Lavigne's (LaVignes) in the Tupper Lake area of New York State. I have sent them some information on the LaVigne families that I have found on the net. His father has done some genealogy on the LaVignes (Lavignes). He once told me that his family was from the Canadian side. Tupper lake is not far from Plattsburg, NY.
