I believe my Great grandfather died in a TB Hospital or a San- for that illness. At the time of his death his wife and children were living in Dannemora NY and he did not die there but I do know that he died of TB. He is not in the Church records of Dannemora or in the death records for that town. So I wondered if I could look in that area for an institure or Cure House record of that time period of the 1880"S . Also, do you know what the Catholic churches were there in the areas of the TB institutes. Thank You Margo

I do not know when it opened but there was also a TB hospital in Tupper Lake, NY. My mother was sent there as a young child about 1926 or so. Mary
