Hi, Sarah, If it helps any, I grew up with a Brunner round about 40+ years ago in Plattsburgh. You might try to locate records for the Children's Home in Plattsburgh - not sure just where those records might be located. I just pulled out an OLD phone book that lists their office at 14 Bailey Avenue. Not sure if that is still accurate. The listing was under Children's Home of Northern New York and the phone was (518) 563-1160. You could either try it or check switchboard.com for them to see if that is still right.
