    3. "The Royal Navy had eleven gunboats, with more than half of the crews were French Canadian, under the command of Captain Roumzie: 'Yeo, Blucher, Drummond, Murray, Wellington, Bereford, Popham, Prevost, Simcoe, Beckwith and Brock'. The total crew for all Royal Navy vessels was believed to be just under one thousand. There was a decided advantage to the Royal Navy because of the superior range and throwing weight." American gunboats were: 'Borer, Centipede, Wilmer, Nettle, Allen, Viper, Burows, Ludlow, Alwyn, and Ballard.' The total crew for all the American vessels was believed to be over 800."
