Hi Pat, Thanks for writing. We need to look very carefully at the information we both have. IF the proposed lineage of my Peter Fournier is as suggested, then it is his sister Esther who is married to Joseph GAGNE, according to my notes. I have not verified with certified documentation...just compiled from information found thru online sources. The Esther I have married to Joseph GAGNE is: Daughter of Pierre Fournier and Archange Levasseur-Carmel. Born 21 March 1832, St-Jean, Quebec Died 21 October 1902, Redford, Clinton county, NY I show that they have 7 children. Does this match the information you have? The Esther I mentioned in my original post would be a niece to the above Esther married Joseph Gagne. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks! Mary, I guess I wasn't very clear in my first post. The Esther I was referring to was the child of Pierre and Archange Levasseur. I also have a Marie Nellie Fournier, married to Jean Baptiste Guillaume Gagne, a brother to Joseph Gagne and I have been trying to find what relationship there was, if any, between Marie Nellie and Esther. I do not have parents for Marie Nellie Fournier. Pat, have we been in touch? I'm a Gagne/Gonyea family member, too. My dad's grandmother was Lucie Gonyea who married Peter Dubrey in Redford, N.Y.
