    3. Hi Margo, You would think that the date 1882, Albany would have the record. They state from 1880 on it was mandatory. If the death took place up in Clinton County, What about the McLellan Cemetery Index? I have found some interesting information I knew nothing about on those indexes. The only way it will not be listed, so they say, is, if they were buried on a private cemetery or plot. These are for public cemeteries only.
