    3. Marge, When you make a request to Albany or Plattsburgh, just put down Clinton County if you are sure that this was the county where he died. Also, if you have the date and access to a good library or from the LDS, check the newspapers of Clinton County for that time period. You may find a death or funeral notice. Then you may even be able to find that the funeral home that was used is still in business and get information from their records. That would be great. Just realize, when you write to Albany, it will be at least 6 months before you get an answer back from them.
