Where is the web site to find these records of St Joseph's Catholic Church in Dannemora, NY. During that time, St. Joseph's had a Monsignor - Landry, I think his name was. He was quite old when he died there in the early 1950s. Shortly before he died, so the story went, either the other priest or the housekeeper found him burning what he said were "Just some old papers". The "old papers" turned out to be marriage and baptismal and other assorted church records. How many were destroyed before he was discovered, is unknown, but anyone looking for records from St. Joseph's should be aware of this. R.L. McKinney
