I am transcribing a page from the Surrogate Court of Clinton Co. NY., 1817. In it, it states that Thomas Le Sauvage a native of the Island of G.....nsey Canada. Looks like it could be Guinsey. Does any one know what the name of this place could be and where in Canada is it? Joyce
