Hi List, I was reading the history of Plattsburgh last evening when I came across the churches of Plattsburgh and the original members of the different churches. Under the original Methodist Church of Plattsburgh, my relative, Peter Roberts and his wife, were members. Now my questions. Does this church still exist? If so does anyone have the name and address to write for information. If this church does not exist, what church would have their old records now? Since it is impossible to get information from the town and county of Plattsburgh, the church is my next resort to finding any "proof" of parentage, marriage, etc. I do own the McLellan List for the family I am interested in but that does not show proof of parents to children, etc. in most cases. Thanks for any help. If I should print out these membership rolls for the different denominations, including pastors, I would like to hear from the list owner.
