Hi Liz, Unfortunately these books only list witnesses at marriages, not parents so not much help there. There are three birth entries under Emeri/Emery but they are in the 1870's. Notice however that one listing reads Joseph Napoleon Emeri/Goderre. Now maybe the Goderre is a clue as in a "dit" name? Regards, Andree
