Hi Wayne, Thanks for the tips, but I had already visited the USGENWEB Clinton site and found nothing for Stebbins or LaValle or different spellings. Given Champlain's proximity to Canada, I am being to believe they may have been born in Canada and maybe at one time just lived in Champlain. Thank you for taking the time to answer my post.
