If the records for Clinton County were not kept until 1880, then where are the records prior to this date? Are they in another county? I am looking for land records for the Moses Allard farm on Cannon Corners Road in Mooers Forks and also for burial records and obitituaries for 1862, 1888, and 1896 on this family. Where do I look?
