For obits--have you checked newspapers on microfilm? Your local library should be able to help you rent reels of newspapers for the appropriate dates. (Did notice there's an Allard listed on the Clinton County Genweb site in the Morning Telegraph index) Have you checked the McLellan survey for burial information? Did a quick look on the Genweb Clinton County site--lists Allards buried in Mooers and Champlain.
